Korbett is a Principal of our Family Business Division in our Texas branch. In the span of his twenty-year career, he has advised his clients in the areas of estate and business succession planning.

Korbett speaks frequently throughout Texas and the Mountain States on the topics of business succession, preparation of heirs, best practices for successors, and estate planning. His guest speaking engagements include Baylor University, Southern Methodist University, Farm Credit of New Mexico. Korbett’s career passion is to help families become the best version of themselves as they navigate the landmines wealth and success can bring.

Korbett is a graduate of Baylor University where he received his Bachelor’s in Marketing, Risk Management, and Insurance. He is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and received his designation as a Certified Family Business Advisor (CFBA) through the Family Firm Institute (FFI).
