Dan founded TCS in 1979 and is the Chairman of TCS Insurance Agency, Inc. His individual life insurance practice evolved over time into a comprehensive business model for executive insurance programs. Dan helped develop many of the concepts that are shaping the future of the firm’s insurance markets.
Dan graduated from California State University at San Jose with a degree in business administration. He is a Founding Director of the Koret Family House, a residential facility for families with children receiving cancer treatment from the University of California at San Francisco.
John, President of Trademark Capital Services and TCS-NW, specializes in insurance planning for high net worth individuals and families, as well as business owners and professionals in the public and private sectors. His clients include entrepreneurs, corporate executives, family offices, real estate developers, and philanthropists.
John designs sophisticated insurance portfolios that enable clients and their advisors to optimize economic results, minimize risks, and expand flexibility in intergenerational wealth planning. His areas of expertise include business continuity strategies and estate tax planning.
John has more than 25 years of experience in all aspects of estate and gift planning for individuals and families, including plans for complex multigenerational or multijurisdictional situations. He advises corporate and individual fiduciaries and beneficiaries on all aspects of trust and estate administration.
John is a committed advocate for his clients and their advisors. His inventive problem solving skills and entrepreneurial thinking drive him to create innovative solutions where others might not see outside the box.
John earned a bachelor’s degree in business communications from California State University at Chico. He has served as a member of numerous boards and is currently involved with several charitable and conservation-oriented causes.
David is a Principal of TCS Insurance and has nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance market. David is a passionate advocate for our clients having seen first-hand how life and disability insurance provides security for a family. David is focused on building relationships with professional advisors to bring his expertise in life, disability and long-term care insurance to customers. With the innovation of TCS and the influence of M Financial, David is introducing the unique solutions of TCS to large law firms, medical practices and corporations. David’s objective is to enhance and protect the financial lives of our clients by focusing on delivering the fundamental benefits of cost efficiency, plan stability and appreciation by plan participants across the US and beyond.
David earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of California at Berkeley. He has served in many community service roles; David is currently on the board of trustees for The Orion Academy, one of the only high schools in the country for children with Asperger’s Syndrome and high functioning Autism.
Steve is a Principal of TCS Insurance and has over ten years of insurance and financial planning experience. He holds the Chartered Life Underwriter® and Chartered Financial Consultant designations and is a vital resource to our team and clients. His expertise enhances the services we provide in the areas of new business opportunities, existing client management, and personal financial planning needs.
Steve earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and a minor in mathematics from the University of San Francisco.
Debby is a Principal with TCS Insurance and has more than 25 years in the financial service and insurance industry. Debby’s role includes the benefit analysis and strategic planning necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives of our clients. Debby is also involved in the implementation and ongoing administration of TCS’ multiple-life benefit plans. Her role requires a thorough knowledge of group and individual insurance, our clients’ unique plan designs, and the administrative capabilities of our various insurance providers. Debby brings to TCS an extensive background in multiple-life administration; specifically, her invaluable experience in group insurance programs. Debby often lends her expertise to the design and marketing of group and individual insurance plans.
Debby earned a bachelor’s degree in education at Buffalo State College.
Andrew is the Vice President of Trademark Capital Services and is an invaluable internal resource for technical matters relating to life insurance planning, product selection, and policy design. His primary responsibilities include the financial modeling and presentation of advanced insurance planning concepts, which are designed to create and preserve client wealth. Andrew also assists clients in developing a clear understanding of how their insurance planning will integrate into their total financial plan and what type of impact current tax law and regulations may have on their long-term objectives. Andrew also works with existing clients to manage their insurance portfolio and to advise them on additional planning needs such as personal and family insurance protection. He is a Registered Principal with M Holdings Securities, Inc., providing internal oversight for the sale of variable life insurance and annuities.
Andrew earned bachelor’s degrees in political economy and applied mathematics from the University of California at Berkeley and California State University at Sonoma, respectively. He also received a graduate degree in agricultural economics from the University of California at Davis.
Ingrid is a Senior Account Manager with our Multi-Life team and oversees the daily management of many of TCS’s multi-life and individual, disability ,and long-term care accounts. Ingrid also manages the implementation and enrollment of our multiple-life benefit plans assisting clients with plan benefits, claims, billing, and enrollment. Ingrid brings to TCS an extensive knowledge of both human resources and insurance practices. Her career experience includes long-term work in the hospitality, strategic management consulting, and insurance industries.
Ingrid earned a bachelor’s degree in human resources and organizational theory at California State University at Sonoma.
Patrick is the Director of Underwriting and has more than 15 years of life insurance industry experience in the areas of sales, marketing, customer service, and field underwriting. His extensive credentials help to ensure that our individual clients’ goals by designing solutions structured with the best products and pricing in mind. With a comprehensive knowledge of life insurance administration, Patrick provides a superior level of service and is extremely proactive and responsive to our clients and their post issue policy needs. His positive attitude and expertise make him an invaluable asset to the individual life team.

Gail is the Account Service Representative for Trademark Capital Services. She provides excellent policy administration and high level service for our individual clients with life, disability, and long-term care insurance.
Gail earned a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from University of California Berkeley and a Master’s degree in Education from Sonoma State University.
Charlotte is the Director of Operations and brings extensive office administration experience to TCS. She supports our entire staff by lending her organizational skills to various office and client administration projects including day-to-day administration for both Multi-Life and Wealth Transfer & Estate Planning Businesses.
Ketkeo is an Associate Underwriter and Account Manager with our Multi-Life team. She has over sixteen years of experience in the insurance industry. Ketkeo works with our clients to provide ongoing administrative support. Ketkeo also manages the underwriting process for clients that are required to submit a medical exam or supporting documentation to qualify for new coverage. Ketkeo previously worked as an Account Specialist for an insurance carrier and as a Client Plan Administrator with another brokerage firm.
Kelsie is an Account Manager and brings more than 11 years of insurance and financial services expertise to TCS Insurance. This experience enables her to understand and appreciate the particular needs of our clients. Kelsie is responsible for account management, on-going client service, and new plan implementation for the multi-life team and works on group and individual disability, life and long-term care plans. She is dedicated to providing exceptional customer services and shares a common goal with TCS of exceeding our client’s expectations.
